Cord Sweatshirt
TIME / 22 – A sweatshirt that tells the story of time through the language of the streets.
The Men Comfy Cord Sweatshirt offers a contemporary reinterpretation of the *Vanitas* theme, transforming the skull symbol into an emblem of strength, awareness, and movement. It is not merely a nod to the past, but a reflection on the passage of time and the attitude we choose to adopt as we move through it.
The stone-washed finish—deliberately worn and imperfect—bears the marks of time, creating a texture that seems to recount a journey of experience, movement, and transformation. Here, a casual streetwear vibe meets a sophisticated aesthetic: graphic references to the Renaissance are reimagined through a contemporary lens that is sportier, more athletic, and dynamic.
At the center, the skull stands as a symbol of what endures amidst constant change. A motif long present in art history as a meditation on transience, it is reinterpreted here by Cheidy Studio through the number 22—a figure that becomes a visual code, a memory, and a representation of time made precious.
The number 22 does not represent time standing still—for time cannot be halted—but rather the choice to live it, traverse it, and transform it. Graphic details inspired by Renaissance iconography interact with an oversized silhouette and a sporty attitude, striking a balance between past and present.
A sweatshirt designed for those who view time not as a loss, but as movement, experience, and possibility.
