From February 6 to 22, 2026, Italy returns to the global spotlight with the Milan Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games, an event that blends sport, landscape, and contemporary vision. Milan and Cortina d’Ampezzo lead a distributed project that celebrates the mountains as a place of performance, identity, and inspiration.
Among the disciplines featured are alpine skiing, biathlon, snowboard, freestyle, figure skating, ice hockey, bobsleigh, and luge, with Cortina hosting the women’s alpine skiing events on the iconic Tofane slopes.
Already the host of the 1956 Winter Olympics, Cortina d’Ampezzo has long stood as a symbol of winter sports, alpine elegance, and international culture. Those Games left behind a powerful visual legacy that continues to inspire today.
The official 1956 poster, designed by Milanese artist Franco Rondinelli and selected through a competition promoted by the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI), depicted Mount Pomagagnon alongside the Olympic rings and the inscription “VII Winter Olympic Games – Cortina 1956”, becoming an enduring graphic icon. Alongside it, the promotional poster by Mario Bonilauri, portraying the torchbearer’s hand, the Olympic flame, and the Tofane mountains, played a key role in the international promotion of the Games, merging sport, art, and communication.
The collection features men’s and women’s streetwear, defined by exclusive illustrations and event-inspired color palettes, reinterpreting the Olympic spirit through a modern urban lens—designed to be worn every day, even far from the slopes.
Because Milan Cortina 2026 is not just a competition: it is an aesthetic, an attitude, a way of experiencing sport through emotion and unforgettable moments.
Milan Cortina Winter Olympics 2026 is meant to be worn.
